Cameron Adams

Cameron Adams is an Australian designer, technologist, and entrepreneur best known as the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Canva, the global graphic design platform. He earned degrees in science and law from the University of Melbourne before founding a successful design agency that worked with clients like Atlassian and TEDx. Adams later joined Google, where he helped design Google Wave, and in 2011 co-founded the email startup Fluent.

In 2012, he teamed up with Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht to launch Canva, leading its product design and creative direction. Under his leadership, Canva has grown to serve hundreds of millions of users across more than 190 countries. Known for championing design accessibility, Adams advocates making creative tools intuitive and inclusive for everyone. As of 2025, he remains a key driving force behind Canva’s innovation and global expansion, with his success placing him among Australia’s leading tech entrepreneurs.
