About

Cheryl Batagol

After many years in management roles in the waste industry, Cheryl began a non-executive career in the Victorian Public Sector, culminating in Board roles with Sustainability Victoria, City West Water, Southern Rural Water, and the Victorian Catchment Management Council. She has also served as Chair of Melbourne Water and the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Victoria. In August 2019, Cheryl joined Victorian Land Registry Services (now Secure Electronic Registries Victoria) as Chair of the Board, and in 2024 she became Chair of the Alluvium Holdings Board at the Alluvium Group.

In serving the Victorian community, Cheryl has encountered some of her greatest challenges as well as her deepest sense of achievement. She values the responsibility and accountability that comes with working in the public sector, helping deliver outcomes that protect communities and the environment while contributing to the economic growth of the state.
