Edward Tsoi

Edward is the co-founder of AI Safety Asia, a nonprofit focusing on AI safety and governance in Asia. Most recently they have trained the Indonesian digital ministry on AI governance and published a report with Brookings Institution on Southeast Asia AI governance.

He previously led the APAC business of a late-stage startup with over 100M raised. He is also the founder of Connecting Myanmar, a charity focused on counter disinformation since 2011, and also served on the board of Amnesty International Hong Kong. He holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights with distinction from the University of Hong Kong.
