Holly Rankin is an artist and strategist working at the intersection of culture, politics and technology. Best known as ARIA and APRA nominated recording artist Jack River, Holly is a creative leader who mobilises culture, community and connection to effect systemic change.Holly is the founder of Sentiment, a public affairs and communications company that helps institutions, organisations and individuals engage with the moment and shape what comes next.In her professional and personal capacity, Holly has worked to engage a new generation in Australia’s democracy.

She has played a leading role in nation-building campaigns for consent and gender equity, political integrity, Australian music, First Nations rights, the energy transition and most recently - protecting consent and control of creators in the age of AI.Throughout all of her work, Holly is interested in how systems can be built to serve humanity. She is driven to build a fair and future-fit society - for women, for First Nations people, for communities and for her daughter Magnolia’s generation.
