Joel Pearlman is a leading media executive with over thirty years experience in the film and media industry.

Joel served as the CEO of Roadshow Films -Australia's leading independent film distributor - overseeing the company's growth in forging key relationships with Warner Bros, Lionsgate, A24 and other leading production companies. Joel also drove the investment into Filmnation - one of the leading independent creators of film content -serving on the company's Board as well as on the company's greenlight committee. Filmnation's recent productions have included 2025 Best Picture winner ANORA as well as CONCLAVE.

Joel has also been a leading supporter of the Australian Film & Television production industry, backing the development and distribution of some of Australia's most successful film productions over the past two decades. Joel has also served on the Board of numerous arts organisations including the Melbourne International Film Festival, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
