About

Samuel Beard

Samuel is Chief of Staff at the Small Giants Family Office, where he provides executive support across projects, property, business operations, events, and relationships to the Co-Founders and CEO. He has spent nearly a decade supporting impact-driven and progressive business leaders across Paris, London, New York, and Melbourne.

A professionally trained writer, actor, and musician, Samuel brings a trauma-aware and deeply compassionate lens to his work, grounded in an understanding of diverse human experiences. He studied French and Film & Television at Edith Cowan University before moving to Paris, where he began working with progressive business leader and TED speaker Lorna Davis as her Chief of Staff and Estate Manager, a role that took him internationally from 2015 to 2022.

While based in New York, Samuel trained full-time as an actor for five years, studying the Alexander Technique and the voice methods of Chuck Jones and Kristin Linklater, alongside Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy. This integrated practice continues to shape his approach to leadership and human connection. He is also a Fellow of Small Giants Academy, having completed its Storytelling for Change, Interconnected Leader, and Mastery of Business & Empathy programs.
