Tristan Harris (Virtual)

Tristan is Co-Founder of the Center for Humane Technology (CHT), a nonprofit dedicated to aligning technology with humanity’s best interests. In this role, he regularly briefs heads of state, technology CEOs, and members of the U.S. Congress, while also engaging global audiences through mainstream media.

His interest in how technology shapes human behaviour began early, from his childhood as a magician to his studies at Stanford’s Persuasive Technology Lab, and later through his work as a Design Ethicist at Google. Tristan has since focused on understanding how digital platforms influence attitudes, behaviours, and beliefs, and how their design can undermine our ability to make sense of the world.

Today, he is a leading voice calling for systemic change in the tech industry. He was featured in the two-time Emmy Award–winning Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma, which reached over 100 million viewers across 190 countries. Tristan also co-hosts the widely acclaimed podcast Your Undivided Attention, where he examines the forces driving the attention economy, its societal impacts, and pathways toward a more humane technological future.
